cuti satu minggu

Baiklah.

Kerana? tidak banyak kes di klinik desa and 'you won't learn much'.

ok.

(now i sound weird). Berusaha diri sendiri! (apakah)

(It is an honour)

orthopaedic posting ( an average malaysian student perspective)

according to me: this is the first posting ever -- never once i felt bored with the things i'm learning. don't think it means that i'm sure i'm gonna score or something like that- it's of another issue. but frankly, i think most orthopaedicians are cool. they played with good anatomy, some biomechanic/biophysic, minimal biochemistry, and great metals and blades. you don't play metals in other posting that much.
sure, the exposure as a medical student is limited. ( not to mention there are tonnes of reading needed - especially when you already forgot those inspiring diagram in your anatomy notes 3 years back) - bad anatomy = screwed. especially in the OT. (where else should a bone be screw ed other than OT). some things are really helpful in this posting:

1) Netter's Concise Textbook of Orthopaedic Anatomy - now in 2nd edition --> can get it at Kamal Bookstore near HKL at around RM 109 something. or it depends on your luck.

2) Appley's --> well known textbook
3) Mc Rae 's --> YOU NEED IT for physical examination. other alternative is Reider's. i flipped though Reider's at the bookstore, and i like it more than mc rae. the presentation and paragraphs are nice. with real-people diagram. BUT, it will cost you around RM 270. i didn't buy it.

ok. and a good night sleep can help you wake up early and make a good fresh start tomorrow and catch up for the coming ortho exam.... (~,~)...

another first entry.

assalamualaikum and good day.

i started blogging since 2003, and i write for myself.
though it's the 4th time i'm writing the first entry for my personal blog,
i still think that the first entry will be the hardest one.

okay. i'm not a good writer, and am not good in publicizing my life.
(nothing that interesting though)
but these last two days, i kept thinking;
why shouldn't i just keep 'an accessible memoirs'
of what's ok to share.. although i know that i'm not good in updating anything.

haha. lucky you belog. i've just spent my 30 minutes with you during my bedtime.
